On the morning of 17 Aug, Premier Li Keqiang met with special envoys of Nepal's new prime minister Prachanda, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara in Zhongnanhai. During the period, the Executive Chairman and Secretary General of Asia Fortune Forum Han Jianfeng and Deputy Prime Minister Mahara had a friendly talk. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation as well as issues of common concern.

Han Jianfeng on behalf of the Asian Fortune Forum to welcome the arrival of deputy prime minister of Mahara. Han Jianfeng said that AFF and Nepal has a good foundation of cooperation, the prospects are very broad. China and Nepal are traditional friendly neighbors, have always been treated as equals, supported and respected each other.AFF has been in good relations with Nepal since its establishment, frequently exchanges. We are willing to join together with Nepal, take this visit as an opportunity to consolidate the traditional friendship, strengthen long-term planning, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, promote common development, and promote the cooperation between AFF and Nepal to a new level. President Han Jianfeng also invited the Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal and relevant enterprises to attend the Sixth Annual Conference of AFF in October 2016 in China - Hongkong. 

The Deputy Prime Minister Mahara said that thanks for the care and support of AFF for the development of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal over the years. He hoped the government and enterprises of Nepal can participate in more activities of AFF, and hope to keep high-level exchanges with AFF, strengthening infrastructure, energy, agriculture, finance, cross-border trade, tourism, education and other fields of cooperation, to promote the continuous development of the relationship between the two sides. He also said, they will actively organize more enterprises to participate in the Sixth Annual Conference of AFF, while welcome the AFF business delegation to visit Nepal, the two sides jointly held the forum activities.
